We aim to dispatch goods within 24 hours but at extremely busy times this may take a little longer. You will be notified by e-mail with confirmation of your order and one to confirm the payment process has been successful. Once payment has cleared your order will be dispatched. Your order should be delivered between 8.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Your order may arrive in more than one delivery, either due to including an item on back order or because some of our goods are at busy time shipped direct from our suppliers.
We are happy for local customers to collect their order by arrangement and at no charge. Once you have completed checkout we will contact you to organise this.
We can also take purchased items to events for collection and ask that you specify the event during checkout and bring your receipt with you on the day. This is to ensure we hand over your order to the correct person.
If you have any specific delivery instructions, please make sure that you enter them during stage 3 of the checkout process (Address). Please note that by leaving delivery instructions for your order to be left in a safe place, you are agreeing that your order will be left at your own risk and that neither the couriers nor doggiedoodahs.co.uk can take responsibility for anything that happens to your order once it has been left in the designated safe place.
Pre-ordering for out of Stock Items
We allow pre-order on most of our products; this will be displayed within the product’s page. We add an extra 5-10 days on the normal delivery time of 3-5 days for pre-ordered items. We will email you should this be any different.
Please ensure you have added a new address to your account if the delivery address is different from the invoice address. For best practice, if you know that you are likely to be out when delivery is attempted, please specify a different delivery address when you place your order, for example, your work address or a friend’s house. Once your order is paid for, we are unable to change your delivery address.
UK Standard Delivery £3.00
We offer free shipping for orders over £40 in value with the exception of a few high value products which are shipped direct from our suppliers and incur an additional fee to us. That fee will be passed on to our customers and detailed in the item description.
With UK standard delivery, the majority of our orders are delivered within 3 to 5 days, unless on occasion, demand is such that unfortunately, deliveries may take a little longer.
Delivery for products that have been purchased using the pre-order facility, please allow up to 10 to 14 working days.
We cannot be held responsible should delivery be delayed by reason of accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion or the default of our suppliers. We will inform customers as soon as we become aware of any delay in delivery.
We dispatch the majority of our parcels via courier, usually My Hermes, and a tracking number is usually emailed direct from their website.
We will occasionally dispatch small parcels via Royal Mail. Should you be out at time of delivery, a card may be left for you with notice that an attempt to deliver the goods was made. Royal Mail may make another delivery attempt the following day, and if not your parcel will be at your nearest Post Office. Please note that if you miss your delivery attempt(s) it is then your responsibility to collect the parcel from the Post Office.
Appropriate shipping insurance will be obtained for any order over £50 in goods value.
When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or misdescribed. We know from time to time faulty products occur and we wish to resolve any problems as quickly as possible for you. Therefore should any item you receive be faulty, please let us know within 14 days of receipt via the 'Contact Us' form, including your order number, name and address, the product details and whether you would like an exchange, refund or e-voucher. We will then email you back with a return number for you to include with the return parcel.
Once we have received and inspected the item, we will be happy to send you a replacement product, refund or email you an e-voucher towards a future order. Any replacement product will usually be dispatched within 48 hours of us receiving the returned item or we will email you should there be a delay for any reason. If a refund or e-voucher has been requested you will receive notification by email within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.
Return of goods to us at our contact address will be at your own cost. We will cover the postage for replacement products sent out to you and refund the original postage cost where the entire order is returned. For partial order returns the original postage cost will be retained by doggiedoodahs.co.uk as having been paid for the full order. In this instance refunds or e-vouchers issued will not include the original postage.
All items should be returned in a clean condition for health and safety reasons and where possible unsealed in the original product packaging.
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 wee are unable to offer a refund for personalised or custom made items, food or DVDs, unless they are faulty.
In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind or decide the product is not suitable for your needs. If upon receipt of an item you decide you would prefer a different size or colour we can offer a comparable exchange or an e-voucher. Please get in touch with us within 14 days through the 'Contact Us' form, including your order number, name and address and the product details and what you would like to exchange it for, We will then email you back with a return number for you to include with the return parcel.
Once we receive the item(s) in their original saleable condition including packaging and tags, we will be happy to send you the replacement product(s) or e-voucher.
The customer shall be responsible for return postage and no refund will be payable from the original postage. Doggie Doodahs (doggiedoodahs.co.uk) will pay the cost of any replacement items as a gesture of goodwill although postage will be applied to any new order where an e-voucher is used.
